Application Information for Chico Rentals
We have a variety of Chico rentals available including single
family homes, duplexes and apartment rentals.
We have rentals
available in a variety of price ranges and styles, and more units
become available on a regular basis. If you would like to
apply for one of our rental units, here are the forms and key information
you need.

How to apply
- Completely fill out an Alliance
application,
including signing the back of the application. Every adult 18
years and older is required to complete an application.
- All Applications, Guarantor forms
and copies of driver’s licenses must be completely filled out
and presented together along with the deposit.
- Turn in the full deposit. Only checks or money orders are
accepted. Separated deposit checks are required from each party
in a roommate situation.
Notes:
- We do not charge an application fee.
- We do not cash deposit checks prior to approval and lease signing.
- We will not accept or process incomplete applications.
- Alliance does not hold or guarantee a property to anyone until all tenants sign a lease.
The Qualifying Process
In order for you to qualify you must be employed 6 months or longer. Your monthly gross income must be at least 3-times the rental amount. You must have good prior rental history. You must have good credit. After the above is verified an appointment will be set up to sign the lease agreement.
Basic Income Requirements
Your monthly gross income must be at least 3 times your monthly rental amount.
Students: Grants and loans may be used as a source of income as long as you provide verification.
Self-Employed: A copy of your of your latest tax IRS 1040 form.
AFDC / SSI / General Assistance: A notice from the Welfare Department showing your name, the monthly or annual amount you receive, and the current date. A social security statement, stating your monthly benefit amount.

Is there anyway to speed up the application process?
Providing your most current paycheck stub and any other income verification will enable Alliance to process your application faster.
Do I need a Guarantor form?
Guarantor forms also referred to as Co-signer forms are needed when an applicant has no credit or bad credit or if the applicant does not make enough income to qualify on their own.
What about Section 8 or other programs?
Some of our properties do accept section 8, Tibra, Libra or any other housing assistant programs.
Are pets allowed?
Some of our properties do accept pets. Only with written prior permission you might have a fish tank under 50 gallons or a bird.
Will you accept cash?
We will accept money orders, personal checks, or a cashier’s check. We are not set up for credit cards and cannot accept cash.
